In this unit, the student unit of TNUA is screening works by our own Department of Animation students. This year's selection of student works is diverse, showcasing the various styles of Taipei National University of the Arts students. The final screening concludes with a fun ten-second animation created by first-year Animation students, marking the end of this unit.

"Sleep Cycle" 

Waking up from a dream repeatedly, revealing the experiences of the victims through potted plants and crows.

"We Can Make Pies"

A fox and a pangolin find a recipe and decide to make pies themselves, leading to a lively and amusing pie-making process, but the results are not as expected.

"See Yourself"

The female protagonist feels inferior because she is a vampire, but with the encouragement of a boy, perhaps it's not as bad as she imagined.

"OMART"

Using documentary and stop-motion animation techniques, multiple angles present the hidden secrets of a supermarket.

"Pet Hate"

A family wakes up to face nightmares and a group of monsters.

"TAKO TA·Q·BIN"

A little octopus prepares a series of surprises for a friend's birthday celebration.

"Catching"

Symbolically, it narrates the cycle of life, relationships between people, and aging.

"Happiness" 

The female protagonist opens her eyes and sees everyone walking towards the edge of a cliff, below which lies a pile of needles - a purgatory.

"Forest" 

In the wild west era, a man is spotted by a little boy at the scene of a crime.

"SNOW" 

A girl walking in the snow is trying to catch up with a translucent giant, but in the end, she chooses to walk at her own pace, living in the moment.

"Messenger, Narcissus" 

The messenger faces various obstacles in delivering a message, and the narcissus gently consoles him, making him stronger.

"Today is My Birthday, honk!"

A whimsical 3D presentation of two birthday celebrants competing for an ice cream. When only one ice cream remains, a comical competition ensues.

"Coming of Age Ceremony" 

Using abstract techniques, it's a more experimental animation with a wax-like texture, telling the process of growing up.

"Tulips on the Riverbank"

After school, elementary school students discuss family matters and personal thoughts by the riverbank, leading to an unexpected argument.

"Phīnn-phang"

At a public bathhouse, a man picks up a stranger's rain boots and imagines the person wearing them. He then picks up a pair of leather shoes, filled with imaginative possibilities.

"I AM IT"

A playful art style depicts a little girl becoming a ghost and causing mischief at school, leading to a series of adventures with her classmates.

"Smoking Feet" 

The main character, a girl, wants to smell nice on the first day of school, but her journey to the bus stop after spraying perfume leads to some unexpected incidents.

"Ticket, Please" 

Presented in harmonious 3D animation, a boy on the platform tries to snatch a ticket from a homeless man to catch a train, putting the man in a dangerous situation.

"Painted Stories"

In a blend of dreams and reality, a girl climbs the stairs step by step, painting an imaginary dream.

"CORPSE"

A dog is extremely nervous about committing his first murder, and he's anxious about disposing of the body in the forest. What will happen to the little dog in the woods?

"Warming Soup" 

Presented in clay animation, it tells a small story that takes place in the forest.

"Ice cream, one each!"

On a hot summer day, two boys are drawn to ice cream at an ice cream stand, and they end up buying one blue ice cream to share. As they prepare to eat the remaining half, several comical mishaps occur.

"I Just Want to Take a Shower"

In outer space, a platypus wakes up and realizes it's smelly, so it decides to make its way to the shower. However, it encounters many obstacles and challenges along the way.

"Fading Flame"

In the midst of a raging fire, the main character recalls a nightmarish day. To change himself, he decides to join the Fading Flame Special Forces.

"March of Soleil" 

An adventure that seems promising for treasure turns out to be filled with schemes and traps, unbeknownst to those embarking on the journey.

"Gacha!" 

A girl accidentally sees a new gacha machine at a sushi restaurant. Overwhelmed by the desire to get a rare capsule, she ends up eating multiple plates of sushi with no luck. However, she finally discovers a rare capsule on the floor, leaving her in a dilemma.

"Oh Shit!" 

Three students skip school for an outing and accidentally find a handgun in the bushes. What kind of story will unfold between the gun and the boys?

"Confessional" 

A young woman in the confessional room reflects guiltily on a certain night, confessing her sins. But on the other side of the confessional, what secrets might be hidden?

"Baojiu" 

As the main character smokes, the unpleasant smell, which his friends despise, triggers memories of a girl from the past. The story recounts real events and nostalgia."
