Synopsis

A young girl named Laqi ventures into the forest in search of her parents, only to encounter the demon spirit Luda. Following Luda into the woods, Laqi embarks on a fantastical journey to find her family.

As Laqi and Luda explore the perilous forest, they come across many monsters lurking within, including the Mountain Scourge, Black Dog Spirit, Oil-Hoof Cat, and Ground Bull, facing numerous dangers and helping each other along the way, eventually becoming trusted friends.

However, deep in the forest, Laqi discovers that Luda‘s intention was only to capture her as a replacement. Should she choose to trust her friend? Will she manage to find her parents as she hoped?

Despite facing many adversities in the forest, she learns valuable lessons about trust and friendship.

About Director

Vick WANG is an acclaimed animation director and producer. He won the Golden Bell Awards as director and producer for the animated TV series Flying Squirrel Tribe and Go Go Giwas.

In 2024, his latest animated film, "Luda." 3Danimated movie, which took ten years to produce, is based on local monster legends and features native ecological landscapes as its setting. It tells the enchanting and adventurous story of a young girl meeting a forest spirit. "Luda" was selected as the opening film for the 2023 Taichung International Animation Festival.
