Prof. Bernd Ruf is one of the pioneers in classical crossover. Already nominated for a Grammy in 2001 for an orchestral production with the Cuban jazz musician Paquito D'Rivera as conductor, he has pursued his musical credo of bringing together different musical genres and cultures over the decades. Film music, as such, stands for a maximum stylistic breadth and thus logically forms a focal point of Bernd Ruf's work. He has been the musical director of the annual Film Music Days Saxony-Anhalt in Halle since 2008. He has conducted soundtracks for national and international television and cinema films, including the music for the "Albert Schweitzer - A Life for Africa" feature film. In addition to film music, Bernd Ruf has also conducted soundtracks for many games, such as "Harry Potter: Magic Awakened" and the German computer game series "Anno." As a professor, Bernd Ruf heads the popular music, jazz, and world music department at the Lübeck University of Music. In addition to film music, Bernd Ruf is a sought-after expert for symphonic crossover projects in jazz, rock, and world music. He has worked as a conductor with Jon Lord (Deep Purple), Roger Hodgson (Supertramp), Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Bobby Kimball (Toto), Randy Brecker, Joe Lovano, Richie Beirach, the African musician Patrick Bebey, the bandoneon master Raul Jaurena and international orchestras. Prof. Bernd Ruf's love for Taiwan was ignited during his first stay in October and December 2015, on the occasion of the symphonic concerts of the Taiwanese band Sodagreen in the Taipei Arena. This love led to regular visits until the Corona period. In 2016, his commitment was recognized when he was awarded the Golden Melody Award as conductor for Sodagreen's "Winter Endless" album. Since then, he has regularly recorded for Sodagreen / Oaeen with his own orchestra, the GermanPops Orchestra. In 2017, he started a cooperation between his university, the Lübeck University of Music, with the Taipei National University of the Arts, and the National Chiayi University. With his university ensembles, MHL-Bigband, and MHL-Vocal Band "Vox Mandala," he was an artist at the Taichung Jazz Festival in 2017 and 2018. He will also perform there with his son Ilja Ruf's trio this year. Prof. Bernd Ruf is part of the jury at the Kuandu International Animation Festival for the second time this year, following his first participation in 2020.

Jennie Lin developed the Higher Education Sprout Project's music and visual arts cross-disciplinary digital content education systems. She serves as the program director for the Ministry of Culture's Popular Music Talent Cultivation Program, committed to bridging industry and academia as well as nurturing networks for talent development. As a renowned cross-genre flutist, she specializes in Brazilian music research and performance and have organized and participated in numerous international cultural and artistic activities. Her work in radio production has been recognized with nominations in the Golden Bell Awards. Formerly the Director of Research and Development at Taipei National University of the Arts, she currently serves as the Associate Professor and Program Director of the Music and Image Trans-disciplinary Program (MIT).

Lin Hsiao-Chin is a composer, sound designer, recording engineer and mixing engineer who loves to tell stories through sound. He was awarded “Best Instrumental Recording Album” at The 27th Golden Melody Awards and “Best Recording Album” at The 33rd Golden Melody Awards for Traditional Arts and Music. He was also nominated for “Best Original Film Score” at The 60th Golden Horse Awards and The 26th Taipei Film Awards.By combining various elements such as classical orchestral sounds, traditional music, electronic synthesizers, and sound design, he has developed a rich composing style. Mitch Lin is a Taiwanese composer with a Master’s degree in Film Scoring from New York University and currently serves as a Lecturer at the Institute of Music, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University. Specializing in cinematic orchestral music, his compositions often feature evocative melodies and harmonies combined with versatile orchestration techniques to capture atmosphere and emotion. He integrates digital instruments, synthesizers, and piano performances as essential elements in his work.Mitch has composed and produced music for numerous films, TV series, and theatrical productions. His notable works include the score for the HBO original series “The Accidental Influencer,” Taipei Film Festival's Best Animation “Grand Adventure Railroad,” the animated film “Impurrfection,” a selection at the Chicago International Film Festival, and the American Student Academy Award Silver Medal-winning documentary “Fairy Tales.” He also scored “Black Sheep,” featured at the Kaohsiung Film Festival, the feature film “Your Love Song,” the Golden Harvest Award-winning short film “One to Ten,” the PTS original short film “Gift of All,” and the teaser trailer for “Little Big Women.” Additionally, he served as the music producer for “Rendez-vous avec Pol Pot” (Meeting with Pol Pot), a Taiwan-France co-production that premiered at the Cannes Film Festival. His theatrical works include “Chance Change Challenge” for Ku & Dancers and productions like “The Robot and the Cat” and “Tree of Life 2: The Ocean of Breath” for the New Children's Dance Theater.

Pei沛沛(Lee Pei-Chin) is a Taiwanese composer of film, commercial, video game, VR and concert music. She studied film in NCCU as her undergraduate and majored in film scoring as the master degree in Berklee College of Music. She is currently the head of PEI PEI STUDIO Co., Ltd. Pei's music styles and work media are diverse. She has composed music for many domestic and foreign advertisements, animations, feature shorts, documentary shorts, theaters, games, and VR works. Her scoring work for the feature short "RE Examination" was shortlisted for the 25th Taiwan Women's Film Festival, and the documentary short "Legit Moms, Illegitimate Kid" was selected to be screened in the judicial program of the 57th Taipei Golden Horse Film Festival; her 2024 historical film series "Hotel Saltwater " was streamed on Netflix and PTS, and the original soundtrack album was released both physically and digitally. Pei also makes the arrangements for pop songs. In 2023, she did the jazz string arrangement of "No Time" in Robot Swing's "System Booting" album. The band was nominated for the Best Band Award at the 34th Golden Melody Awards for this album.
