Founded in 2011, the Department of Animation of Taipei National University of the Arts is one of Taiwan's few educational institutions purely dedicated to the education of professional animation. Animation aesthetics, techniques, and directing education are impartial to our curriculum and designed to cultivate creative, skillful, and intelligent future professionals. We teach film production for digital and experimental animation to a new generation of talents to facilitate the advancement of the local animation and film industry. Besides elevating professional skills, establishing positive teamwork attitudes through industry-academy cooperation is essential to our educational value. Animation is an art form that juxtaposes "time" and "space." With our belief, the students are encouraged to learn, interact, and share their laughter and, with it, create magnificent artwork.
